Who are the top portals available on Masterkey?

We get this question all the time, so we thought it'd be nice to give you some numbers without getting into the pros and cons of each portal and the various methods of ranking the portals. We covered that in a previous post.

So what data are we looking at?

As arguably the largest listings data provider to portals across the region, Masterkey passes along your listings to each portal via something called XML. We do this so only the portals that are selected by you get the listings and we also track the data that is transferred. Tracking is mostly done to allow troubleshooting of any problems if they come up but as a side benefit it also means we gain statistics on the most popular portals.

The Disclaimer!

Before we dive into the numbers, keep in mind that this is not a list of the "best" portals for you to use. These are simply the most popular. To get the best portals you need to calculate your ROI per portal and the below numbers are not an attempt to do so. Also, some companies currently use manual data entry or some link to portals directly from their website, so this is not 100% of the data transfered. All-in-all this is 40-50% of the data that originates in Masterkey and ends up on portals which is useful and indicative of which portals companies use today.
